Join our residents, students, businesses, local organizations, and community groups as Fairbank Village comes together to help clean up the public spaces in the area. Our spring Community Clean-Up will help us prepare for the return of our annual roster of events planned for Fairbank Village in 2022. We are so excited to have you back with us!
Help support the Fairbank Village community by participating in our Community Clean Up on Saturday, April 23, 2022, from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm. Enjoy some free pizza & refreshments for coming out to help and volunteering with us!
Location: We will meet at the New (!) Fairbank Village BIA Office at 1988 Eglinton Ave. West.

Volunteers will be asked to help with setting up the supplies for the event, handing out postcards for our other free community events, then assisting with the clean-up, and finally bringing the supplies back to the office. The commitment for this volunteer opportunity runs from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm.
Benefits: Get involved in the community and meet new people! Enjoy free pizza and refreshments! One token/bus ticket per volunteer is available for those who need them (please ask the Volunteer Coordinator when you sign out).
Requirements: Volunteers should be able to do light-lifting (a minimum of 10-15 lbs) in order to help out as required.
Please wear comfortable shoes and dress appropriately for the weather (e.g., boots, rain jackets, hats, or sunscreen whenever appropriate) as this is an outdoor event!
Cancellation Policy: Please provide a minimum of 24-48 hours' notice if you are unable to attend the event. Up to 1-week's notice would be even better to help us offer the spot to other volunteers!
