Summerfest 2022 Recap
Summerfest 2022 is officially over and it was even more amazing than we expected!
After a 2-year hiatus, our festival returned much to the enjoyment of the entire Fairbank business and resident community. Thank you to everyone in the neighbourhood who came and enjoyed the free rides and experienced the many tasty food vendors. We hope you had as much fun as we did! Thanks to all the volunteers who came out to help with the event - Summerfest would not be the same without all our volunteer support! Special thanks to Superior Events for working with us to provide all the great live entertainment. Thank you to the local businesses and food vendors for offering a variety of foods and specialty items to festival attendees. We would also like to give a special shout out to all the vendors and organizations that contributed to creating a rich and diverse atmosphere for everyone. We want to send a big thank you to Gino’s No Frills for giving us the space to offer some fantastic rides to the community. Lastly, thank you to MP Julie Dzerowicz, and MP Marco Mendicino for coming out and to support the festival.
We had a wide variety of entertainment options at Summerfest 2022. From the colossal paratrooper ride, to the fire eating show, we had many different types of acts for everyone. From Caribbean to Soul to Pop, we had music to suit everyone’s taste. All of the kids had a terrific time jumping around on the bouncy castles and other inflatable rides. And many of you even left with prizes as well! From basketball shooting to ski ball, there were many fun games you could play to try and bring home a special prize for the folks at home.
We hope to see you all next year - we can’t wait for Summerfest 2023!
